Anatolian Monuments is a digital visual archive dedicated to the monumental heritage of the ancient civilizations of Anatolia. Bringing together photographs, site documentation, and comprehensive lists of inscriptions, the project aims to preserve and present the material and written legacies of cultures such as the Hittites, Urartians, Phrygians, Carians, Lycians, and others. By documenting both their monumental remains and their unique languages recorded in stone, Anatolian Monuments offers a unified gateway to the archaeological and epigraphic richness of Anatolia’s ancient past.
This is not a complete list, nor do the listed sites have complete information. As time permits, we will continue to provide updates. Comments, feedback, and information are appreciated.
